Welcome to Pickleball Stirling, your local hub for all things Pickleball in Stirling, Scotland. Our group was founded in June 2024 by passionate local pickleball enthusiasts who recognised the need for a centralized source of information and a way to connect players in the area.
In August 2024, Pickleball Stirling became a fully constituted non-profit club which is affiliated to Pickleball Scotland.
The Club and its activities are managed by a management committee that consists of:-

Treasurer and Vice-Chairperson: Alan Hutchison
Other Committee Members: David Simpson and James Kilgannon
As of November 2024, the Club has over 100 active members.
About Pickleball Stirling – Our Story
The inspiration behind Pickleball Stirling came from the growing popularity of the sport in our region and the difficulty many faced in finding information and making connections with other players.
While Pickleball was being played in Stirling, the lack of available information made it challenging for new and existing players to get involved.
Most of the Pickleball groups were previously organised via Whatsapp, which is great. BUT… if you don’t know anyone in the group, or even know about the group in the first place, you would never discover it.
That’s where Pickleball Stirling Club comes in – local players now have a Club which publishes a regular schedule of events throughout the week.
Local Venues
There are several venues across Stirling to host Pickleball games and events:
- The Peak
- The Dunblane Centre
- The Allan Centre
- Livilands Tennis Court
- Stirling University
These locations offer a variety of settings for players of all skill levels to enjoy the game.
Who We Serve
Pickleball Stirling is open to everyone, as it is a sport that is so easy to get into and so accessible. Whether you are a seasoned player or new to the sport, Pickleball offers a fantastic way to stay fit and have fun.
The game’s less strenuous nature compared to other racquet sports makes it accessible to a wide range of players.
What We Offer
Our Club organises a variety of events and programs, including “Get into Pickleball” sessions designed to introduce newcomers to the sport.
As we grow, we aim to develop and promote Pickleball throughout the community. We will also organise regular coaching and special events for members, as well as social events.
Join Us
Joining Pickleball Stirling as a founding member costs just £30 a year. Download our “Stack Team” App on your smartphone and request to join “Pickleball Stirling” – you’ll then automatically become a “Guest Member” and you are welcome to come along to a couple of trial sessions before committing to full membership.
